Recently, out of nowhere, I got immensely intrigued and fascinated by the Arabic geometric Kufi calligraphy. Some of the works of our ancestors in mosques and buildings are beautiful. As I plunge into this art form, I'm discovering it has some strict rules which make me appreciate this thing even more. This is my second sketch piece. My first was the usual spiritual "bismi allah arra7man arra7im" which was actually a painting I'll post next time. In this one, I wanted something that creates a nice memory for my close family. Let's see how many names you can successfully guess!
For those of you who have experience with geo Kufi, by the way I admit, since I am still learning, this is not perfect. I am making a bunch of mistakes here and there, and this is why it may be hard to decipher. In a properly designed piece, one should be able to read it, with some getting used to the general shapes of the style. Please correct me when you see mistakes.
